Well, here I am, sixteen months later! And guess what? I have just graduated with a College Prep diploma three months earlier than I would have if I were back home! Since being here, I have also accepted Jesus Christ into my heart as MY PERSONAL Saviour. :) I walked in as nothing but a rebellious teenager, and now I'm leaving as a young lady with a productive plan for my life. I was born and raised in Oakland, California, but I am going to attend Pensacola Christian College at Pensacola, Florida and am going to major in nursing. Wow, who would've thought I'd go to college all the way across the country! The Lord has something big and great for me just waiting out there. I just know it! But really, I could NOT have made it this far without God, who has given me countless chances, my wonderful loving parents for their sacrificies, Brother Bud and Miss Debbie for establishing this school/home under God, and the amazing staff and the girls here. I just want to thank and praise the LORD for saving me and my soul! "In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me." Psalm 120:1
