ABOUT REFUGE OF GRACE GIRLS ACADEMY

With the sincere desire to help the lives of troubled youth, the Refuge of Grace Academy was founded in October, 1994, by Bud and Debbie Martin.

Refuge of Grace Academy's purpose and goal is two-fold. First, we want to work with each teen striving to help her become a God-honoring and parent-honoring young lady and to be an honest, hard-working asset to the community in which she will live. She will be taught how to care for a family and home. We also desire to help her achieve a personal walk with God.

For the young lady whose relationship has been destroyed with her parents, we help to repair and rebuild that relationship. Instead of the student quitting or resorting to the "easy" solution, the staff at Refuge of Grace works with these young ladies in order that they may find the right answers to their problems.

Secondly, Refuge of Grace Academy provides a college preparatory program that will prepare her for a chosen vocation in life. Our school helps your teen to achieve an academic level of skills so that she may receive the credits needed for a high school diploma. This program serves both the teen girls of high academic ability through an accelerated progression to college-level courses, as well as the teen girls of more modest abilities through a flexible curriculum that allows the time for mastery of fundamental concepts and skills to be achieved at the highest level of each teen'sability.

Our desire and goal is to encourage and nurture respect, self-discipline, leadership, and creativity in the young girl's life, whether academic, religious, social, athletic, musical, or extracurricular.
